• Pause Scanning: scanning will stop but the scanning application will
be waiting for additional images (i.e., stops the feeder). Scanning
may be resumed by pressing the Start/Resume button on the
scanner. Scanning may be stopped by pressing the Stop/Pause.
This option allows you to inspect a preview image of the scanned
page and choose to Accept the scanned image or Rescan the page
and discard the image from the scan that triggered a multifeed alarm.
The scanned images will not be sent to the host application until
accepted. This option allows all multifeed events to be handled at the
scanner. No image manipulation is required in the scanning
application. This option also allows you to stay in front of the scanner
reducing wasted movement and fatigue. This option is provided by
the scanner. No changes to the scanning application are
required.
NOTE: This option will automatically be enabled when the Pause
Scanning multifeed action is used if the scanner firmware is
Version 3.9.1 or higher.
The preview image will be oriented per the image processing
settings that were selected within the ISIS Driver (Automatic
Rotation). If the scanning application is rotating the image or
performing other image processing, the preview image will not have
scanning image processing applied.
• If scanning in duplex (front and back), then both images will be
displayed.
• If scanning in black and white, a black and white image will be
displayed.
• If scanning in color/grayscale, a color/grayscale image will be
displayed.
• If scanning in dual stream, a color/grayscale image will be
displayed.
• If scanning in black and white using VRS software, a grayscale
image will be displayed.
