Basic operation
When you turn on the LCD TV set for the first time, the First installation routine, which makes installation easier, is
activated. Using this routine, you can select the on-screen display language, and automatically search for and
store all the receivable channels.

• The input mode is automatically switched to AV1 when "First installation" is selected.
• While performing the steps in the first installation, you can skip back to the screen before the first installation is selected by
pressing Flashback (A).

First installation
Press the MAIN POWER switch.

The "First installation (Language)"
screen with a list of the languages
for the on-screen display appears.

Press a/b to select the desired
language, and then press ENTER.
The "First installation (Message)"
screen appears.

NOTE
• You can change the on-screen display language after the First installation routine by selecting
"Language" on the TV menu (see pages 13 and 14).

If you have already connected the
antenna, press a/b to select
"Yes", and then press ENTER. If
not, press a/b to select "No", and
then press MENU to exit. (You can
try First installation again after
connecting antenna. See page 6
for antenna connection.)

Press a/b to select the desired
adjustment item, and then press
ENTER. Then press c/d to select
the desired item.

Press a/b to select "Start search".

Press ENTER to begin the
automatic programme search.
The screen shows whatever is on
channel 1 when the search is
finished.

Press MENU to exit.
