Solution
• Check the orientation of the cymbal pad.
When it is improper, the cymbal pad
may not be fully functional.
• The shaft on the hi-hat stand may come
loose during use and cause the hi-hat
pad to rotate. If this happens, the pad
may not function properly. To avoid the
problem, we recommend that you
tighten the shaft and check the position
of the hi-hat pad on a regular basis.
• Putting extra felt under the cymbal pad
may result in lower volume.
• Ensure that the Pad Type parameter is
set correctly. (A suitable cymbal-pad
type must be selected for the pad being
used. (For more information, refer to the
"Reference Manual" (PDF).)
• The trigger output level of any pads with
a dial allow this to be adjusted.
• Ensure that the LED rotary fader for the
pad for which a sound is not being pro-
duced is set high enough.
For more information, refer to the "Refer-
ence Manual" (PDF).
Check the orientation of the cymbal pad.
When the orientation of the pad is
improper, the cymbal pad may not func-
tion fully.
• Make sure that you are fully and firmly
operating the hi-hat pedal.
• Ensure that the foot controller is cor-
rectly connected to the [CONTROL]
jack.
• Putting extra felt under the cymbal pad
may result in lower volume.
• Ensure that the LED rotary fader for the
pad for which a sound is not being pro-
duced is set high enough.
• Ensure that the Pad Type and trigger
parameters have been set correctly. (For
more information, refer to the "Refer-
ence Manual" (PDF).)
• Check the orientation of the cymbal pad.
When this is not set properly, the cymbal
pad may not be fully functional.
• Make sure to connect the pad to the
proper jack that supports position sens-
ing.
