Blown Fuse

Before handling fuses, see Inspecting and Replacing
Fuses, refer to page 28.
Fuse Box Fuses

1. Remove the seat (page 36).
2. Remove the right side cover (page 37).
3. Open the fuse box cover.
4. Pull the fuses out one by one with the fuse puller
in the tool kit and check for a blown fuse. Always
replace a blown fuse with a spare fuse of the same
rating.
5. Close the fuse box cover.
6. Reinstall the parts in the reverse order of removal.
Main Fuse

1. Remove the seat (page 36).
2. Remove the right side cover (page 37).
3. Remove the starter magnetic switch from the
battery box.
4. Disconnect the wire connector of the starter
magnetic switch.
5. Pull the main fuse out and check for a blown fuse.
Always replace a blown fuse with a spare of the
same rating.
Spare main fuse is provided in the starter mag-
netic switch.
6. Reinstall the parts in the reverse order of removal.

OTICE
If a fuse fails repeatedly, you likely have an
electrical problem. Have your motorcycle inspected
by your dealer.
