XENYX QX1832USB/QX1222USB Controls
Step 2: Controls
(EN)
(1) USB wireless input accepts a USB
receiver for use with Behringer ULM
wireless microphones.
(2) GAIN knob adjusts the sensitivity of the MIC
and/or LINE inputs.
(3) COMP knob adjusts the amount of
compression effect on the channel.
(4) EQ knobs adjust the high, mid and low
frequencies of the channel. Adjust the FREQ
knob on the QX1832USB to select the specific
frequency adjusted by the MID knob.
(5) MON knob adjusts how much of the channel's
signal routes to the MON SEND/OUT jack.
(6) AUX 1 knob (QX1832USB only) adjusts how
much of the channel's signal routes to the
AUX 1 jack. Press the PRE button when using
AUX 1 as an extra monitor send.
(7) FX knob adjusts how much of the channel's
signal routes to the internal multi-FX
processor or the AUX SEND 2/FX SEND jack.
(8) PAN/BAL knob positions the channel in the
stereo field.
(9) MUTE button mutes the channel.
CLIP LED lights when the channel

signal overloads.
CHANNEL FADER adjusts the channel volume.

MULTI-FX PROCESSOR adds a selected sound
(12)
effect to any channels whose FX knob is
turned up. See the Multi-FX Processor section
for details.
FX SEND knob/fader adjusts the amount of

signal sent to the internal multi-FX processor
or an external effects processor via the
FX SEND jack.
GRAPHIC EQ adjusts specific frequencies in

the sound spectrum.
XPQ SURROUND knob adjusts the amount
(15)
of stereo enhancement on the mix. Press the
XPQ TO MAIN button to activate the effect.
VU METER displays the MAIN OUTPUT

signal level.
PHONES/CTRL ROOM knob adjusts

the headphone or studio monitor
(QX1832USB) volume.
VOICE CANCELLER button filters out vocal

frequencies from audio plugged into the
2-TRACK INPUT, enabling your mixer to act as a
karaoke machine.
MODE button (QX1832USB only) determines

whether the channels' SOLO button operates
as 'Solo in Place' (button out) or 'Pre-Fader
Listen' (button in). PFL is preferred for gain
setting purposes.
MON SEND fader adjusts the amount of

signal sent to a monitor speaker via the
MON OUT jack.
FX/AUX2 RET fader (QX1832USB only)

adjusts the amount of internal or external
effects included in the mix.
SUB 1-2 faders (QX1832USB only) adjust the

output of the SUB OUTPUT jacks.
MAIN MIX faders adjust the overall output of

SOURCE buttons (QX1832USB only) route the

USB/2-TR, SUB 1-2, and MAIN MIX to the
PHONES and CONTROL ROOM jacks.
FX TO MON and FX TO MAIN knobs

from the internal multi-FX processor or an
external effects processor that is included in
the main or monitor mix.
STANDBY button (QX1222USB only) mutes all

microphone channels.
USB/2-TR RTN fader (QX1222USB only)

adjusts the level of the 2-track RCA inputs or
USB input.
AC IN accepts the included power cable for

connection to a mains outlet.
POWER ON switch turns the mixer on and off.

PHANTOM ON switch sends 48 V to the XLR

AUX 1 RETURN knob (QX1832USB) adjusts the

processor to the AUX 1 RETURN jacks.
USB/2-TR TO MAIN button (QX1832USB)

routes the USB and 2-Track playback to the
MAIN MIX and mutes the USB/2-TR OUT
recording signal.
LEVEL SET LED (QX1222USB only) is used for

setting the correct input level of the channel.
