7. Check the EDID
(1) Configure the equipment same to <Fig. 7>.
(2) Select [Read Data & Verify] of the DDC record S/W.
* Be sure that it is not [Write Data & Verify] of the substrate
adjustment.
(3) Make sure that the OK signal and the checksum are equal
to the values given at the record file.
* Because it is the process to read and check the EDID, it
is not necessary to release the EDID Write Protection.
8. ADC Gain/Offset Adjustment
(1) Required Test Equipment
1) Video Signal Generator(Master equipment) : 1EA
2) Remote control : 1EA
(2) Setting of the Device
Set the equipment as <Fig. 8-1>.

(3) Preparation for Adjustment
1) Set the output of the Video signal Generator to 720P
60Hz. (720P/60Hz)
- MSPG-925LTH/FA : Model 217
- MSPG-1025D/P, MSPG-332
2) Select the '8 Color 16 Gray step Pattern(Pattern:8) of
<Fig.8-2> at Video signal Generator(Master equipment).

8-1. RGB GAIN/OFFSET Adjustment
(1) Select ADJ ->RGB1 ADJUSTMENT -> ▶(Vol+) Auto Gain/
Offset Set ■(Enter) -> at the adjustment remote control.
(The actual adjustment is automatically performed by the
system Micom.)
(2) After adjusting is finished, check 'RGB ADC Success!'
message and press 'OK' key at the remote controller for
adjusting to exit.
(It does not operate except the 'OK' Key. When it exits from
the adjustment screen, it searches for the signal again.)
(3) When it fails to adjust, 'RGB ADC Fail!' message is
displayed, and then press 'OK' key at the remote controller
to exit.
(It does not operate except the 'OK' Key. When it exits from
the adjustment screen, it searches for the signal again.)
(4) When the signal other than 720p 60Hz is entered and the
operation same to (1) is performed, 'Invalid format' OSD is
displayed and it automatically searches for the signal.
(5) When adjusting is finished, press the ADJUST key to
check from the OSD for making sure that adjusting is
finished.
If it fails, 'Fail' OSD is displayed at the ADJUST menu, but
if it succeeds, 'OK' OSD is displayed at the ADJUST menu.
* When there is no adjustment, no OSD is displayed.
* When there is no input signal, the sub-item 'Auto Gain/
Offset Set' of the RGB ADJUSTMENT is not displayed.
8-2. Component GAIN/OFFSET Adjustment
(1) Select ADJ -> COMPONENT1 ADJUSTMENT -> ▶(Vol+)
-> Auto Gain/Offset Set ■(Enter) -> at the adjustment
remote control.
(The actual adjustment is automatically performed by the
system Micom.)
(2) After adjusting is finished, check 'Component ADC
Success!' message and press 'OK' key at the remote
controller for adjusting to exit.
(It does not operate except the 'OK' Key. When it exits
from the adjustment screen, it searches for the signal
again.)
(3) When it fails to adjust, 'Component ADC Fail!' message is
displayed, and then press 'OK' key at the remote controller
to exit.
(It does not operate except the 'OK' Key. When it exits
from the adjustment screen, it searches for the signal
again.)
(4) When the signal other than 720p 60Hz is entered and the
operation same to (1) is performed, 'Invalid format' OSD is
displayed and it automatically searches for the signal.
(5) When adjusting is finished, press the ADJUST key to
check from the OSD for making sure that adjusting is
finished.
If it fails, 'Fail' OSD is displayed at the ADJUST menu, but
if it succeeds, 'OK' OSD is displayed at the ADJUST menu.
* When there is no adjustment, no OSD is displayed.
* When there is no input signal, the sub-item 'Auto Gain/Offset
Set' of the COMPONENT1 ADJUSTMENT is not displayed.
