3. Emergency procedure s

3.1

Jump starting

If the battery is flat, it is possible to start the engine using an auxiliary
battery with the same capacity or a little higher than the flat one.
IMPORTANT:
Never jump start the engine by pushing, towing or driving downhill.
In the event of emergency starting, the battery dummy poles for
remote starting are available on the left side of the engine
compartment.
1.
Positive dummy pole (+) for remote starting (covered with
protective cap)
2.
Negative dummy pole (-) for remote starting.

Apply the parking brake, take the automatic transmission to P
(Park), or engage a gear on manual gearbox and ignition switch
to OFF.

Turn off the heater, the radio and all unnecessary electrical
devices.

Remove the protective cover above the positive dummy pole
(+) of the remote starting battery.

To remove the cover, press the tab with the retaining clip and
pull the cover upwards.

Connect one end of the cable used for positive (+) to the
positive dummy pole (+) of the car with flat battery.
