DYNAMIC SELECT switch

Function of the DYNAMIC SELECT switch
Function of the on-road drive programs
Use the DYNAMIC SELECT switch to change
between the following drive programs:
o (Slippery): optimized pulling away and
driving characteristics in wintry and slip‐
pery road conditions
= (Individual): individual setting of drive,
suspension, steering and ECO start/stop
function
A (Comfort): comfortable and economical
driving by shifting up early and the ECO
start/stop function
C (Sport): sporty driving, optimized shift
points and more direct handling
B (Sport +): especially sporty driving,
acoustic signal when shifting down, opti‐
mal switching times and quicker pulling-
away
The A drive program is recommended in city
traffic and stop-and-go traffic.
% The A drive program is always automati‐
cally active after the vehicle is restarted.
Function of the off-road programs
If the differential locks for the transfer case are
engaged, the vehicle changes automatically to
the drive program F (Trail).
Use the DYNAMIC SELECT switch to change
between the following drive programs:
ë (Sand): tight suspension and steering set‐
ting, optimized for driving on sand
F (Trail): comfortable suspension and steer‐
ing setting, optimized for driving on
unpaved roads and loose ground
G (Rock): tight suspension tuning and com‐
fortable steering setting, optimized for
driving in difficult terrain and on hard,
rocky ground

You can switch between the drive programs
only in the order given above. You cannot
switch directly between Sand and Rock.
Disengage all differential locks to return to the
on-road drive programs.
