Over Edge Stitch

The Overlock Stitch is used to prevent the edge of the fabric from
fraying.
Place the edge of the fabric under the presser foot so the needle enters
the fabric when the left side of the zigzag stitch is sewn and misses the
edge of the fabric with the right side of the stitch. Sew with this needle
position along the edge of the fabric.

La puntada de rebatido se usa para evitar que la orilla del tejido se
deshilache.
Coloque la orilla del tejido debajo del prensatelas de forma que la
aguja penetre el tejido al coser la parte izquierda de la puntada zig-
zag y sobrepase la orilla al coser la parte derecha. Cosa con la agu-
ja en esta posición a lo largo de la orilla del tejido.

Yliluottelulla ehkäistään kankaan reunojen rispaantuminen.
Aseta kankaan reuna paininjalan alle siten, että neula osuu kankaa-
seen, kun siksakompeleen vasen pisto ommellaan, eikä osu kankaan
reunaan, kun piston oikea puoli ommellaan. Ompele näin kankaan
reunaa pitkin.
