Converting to Free-Arm Style

Free-arm sewing is convenient for sewing tubular and hard-to-reach
areas on garments. To change your machine to the free-arm style, lift
up on the extension table and pull it out. (See fig. A.)
1 Lift the bottom of the extension table up toward you.
2 Pull the extension table out to remove it.

Steadying the Machine

When the sewing machine is placed on an uneven surface, turn the
rubber cushion on the front right-hand side of the base plate to adjust
its height until the sewing machine is stable. (See fig. B.)
Conversión en modalidad de brazo libre
La costura con brazo libre es práctica para coser en redondo y en
partes del tejido de difícil acceso. Para transformar su máquina en
esa modalidad, sólo hace falta levantar el soporte de los accesorios

Si se instala la máquina de coser en una superficie desigual, puede
ajustar su altura girando el cojinete de goma que se encuentra en la
parte anterior derecha de la placa de base hasta que la máquina
quede estable. (Ver fig. B.)

Vapaavarsi on kätevä putkimaisten kappaleiden ja muiden
hankalapääsyisten alueiden ompelussa. Aloita vapaavarren käyttämi-
nen nostamalla lisäpöytää ylös ja vetämällä se irti koneesta. (Katso

1 Nosta lisäpöydän pohjaa ylös itseäsi kohti.
2 Vedä lisäpöytä irti koneesta.

Koneen tukeminen

Kun ompelukone on sijoitettu epätasaiselle alustalle, säädä pohjalevyn
etuosan oikeassa reunassa olevan kumityynyn korkeutta kääntämällä
tyynyä, kunnes ompelukone seisoo tukevasti paikoillaan. (Katso kuvaa
B.)
