Clip the film holder back into the slots in the film guide for a 35 mm strip.
Film Holder
Slides do not require the film holder to be closed.

Place the loaded film guide in the correct
position on the scanner's document glass.
• The film guide has a calibration slot used by the scanner to calculate the color
balance. The film cannot be scanned with the correct color balance if this slot is
obstructed. Keep it clear.

Close the document cover.
• You can purchase the Accessory Kit for CanoScan 3000F (AK-3000F) if the protective
sheet or the film guide lost or damaged.
