P r o b l e m
A Compaq Presario running Windows 95 will print only 3/4 page out of
any windows application.
C a u s e
This occurs with the Windows 95, Windows 3.1, and Win95 mini
drivers.
Solution
Change the Resource Setting of LPT1.
Right Click on My computer

Select Properties

Select Device Manager Tab
m
Double-click Ports (COM & LPT)
m
Double-click LPT-1
m
Select Resources Tab
m
De-select Automatic Settings
m
Change Basic config from 0000 (0) to 0003 (3)
m
• This step may require setting to 0002 (2) first, and then reboot
in order to see 0003 (3)
Select OK
m

Tech Support.
