Clean the exterior
of the printer.

Do not use volatile solvents, such as thinner or benzene, spray-type
cleaners, or chemical cleaners.
Do not wash the printer with water.

Printing a Test Page

You can print a Nozzle Check Pattern to check the operation of your
printer and your print quality. If the Nozzle Check Pattern indicates
poor print quality, try cleaning the print head (see page 4-7). If
necessary, replace the BJ cartridge.
Before starting, make sure paper is properly loaded in the sheet feeder
(see Automatically Feeding Paper starting on page 3-8).
Chapter 4
Clean the exterior of the printer with a soft cloth
moistened with water.
Clean away smudges and dust.
Do not use paper products (such as paper towels or
tissues) to clean the printer.
