2.1
Mounting
The C900TTL-E is static sensitive. Ensure
that you touch earth ground before
handling the circuit board to discharge any
static electricity in your body.
Example: Run the ground wire to the
enclosure before handling the circuit
board. Hold the ground wire (or use a
ground strap) and install the circuit board.
2.1.1
Using the Optional Mounting Plate
An optional mounting plate (P/N: 40182) is available
for mounting the C900TTL-E on the door of a
control panel (D8103) or a fire control panel
enclosure (D8109). The D8108A Attack Resistant
Enclosure cannot be used.
Mounting a C900TTL-E in a control panel
enclosure is approved by UL only when
used with a DS7400Xi as shown in
Figure 5 on page 8.
1. Insert the top hook of the included top plastic
standoffs (7) and bottom plastic standoffs (2) into
the mounting plate brackets (1 and 8). Refer to
Detail A in Figure 2.

2. Ensure that the plastic standoffs align with the
holes in the mounting plate brackets.
3. Place the top edge of the C900TTL-E module
(6) under the standoff bracket of the upper two
standoffs (2).
4. Insert two of the Phillips head screws (5)
provided.
5. Lower the bottom edge of the module down and
rest it against the small ledge of the two bottom
plastic standoffs.
6. Insert the two remaining Phillips head screws (4)
into the bottom two mounting holes (3) on the
C900TTL-E module and through the bottom
two plastic standoffs into the bottom mounting
brackets (1).
7. Tighten the screws until the C900TTL-E is
attached securely to the mounting plate.
