Baseband Description and Troubleshooting
The error "SIM card rejected" means that the ATR message received from the SIM card is
corrupted (e.g., data signal levels are wrong). The first data is always ATR, and it is sent
from the card to the mobile terminal.
SIM faults
Is the SIM a 3.0V or
1.8V card?
YES
Measure VSIM at
X2700 pin 3. Is it 3V
or 1.8V?
YES
Check SIM power-up
sequence. It should
look like the
following picture:
