6 Transport

6.1 Safety information

Risk of Damage
– The backrest is not locked on the seat when it
is folded and can come apart.
1. Remove the battery from the backrest for transport.
2. Disassemble the bath lift into two sections for transport
(base frame with seat plate and backrest), refer to 6.2
Removing Bath Lift, page 19.
Risk of Damage
– Do not remove the suction cups when
transporting the bath lift.
– Refer to the storage and shipping conditions in
chapter 10.4 Environmental Parameters, page

6.2 Removing Bath Lift

1. Let the water out of the bathtub.
2.
Lower the bath lift using the Down button until the
backrest stops in the lowered end position, refer to 5.2
Controlling Bath Lift, page 16.
Grasp deep into the handle so that you can hold
the battery safely.
3. Unlock the battery by pulling the handle up slightly and
pull the battery upwards out of the guide.
