If the image becomes blurred when the two units are located
within the ranges shown in the diagram below, move the

Notes
• Locate the Document Stand so that its infrared emitter is
facing the infrared sensor of the PCS-1600/1600P on a
straight line. If the direction of the IR emitter is shifted more
than five degrees, the IR sensor cannot properly receive the
infrared rays; the picture is blurred or frozen.
• You cannot use multiple Document Stands at the same time.
This interferes with the reception of the infrared rays.
• The resolution of a picture becomes lower when using the IR
video transmission function. When you want to preserve the
original resolution, connect the unit to the PCS-1600/1600P
using the MONITOR OUT jack and a cable.
• When you cannot use the infrared image transmission
function because of the layout of the room, connect the unit
to the PCS-1600/1600P using the MONITOR OUT jack and a
cable.
• The picture may become blurred if you are using another
infrared transmitter at the same time. You can either stop
using the other infrared transmitter, or connect the unit to the
PCS-1600/1600P using the MONITOR OUT jack and a
cable.
