Once a target altitude is selected, it will be displayed in the top
right of the autopilot display bar. This is shown in the fourth picture
of Figure 6.4.4a.
When the autopilot is engaged, it will synchronize to the current
vertical speed, as long as the current vertical speed is above 500 fpm,
otherwise it will synchronize to 500 fpm.
The vertical speed and target altitude can be adjusted during
the transition. See section 6.4.3.
