Note:
• To be able to store numbers in the
phonebook, you may have to enter the
area code before the phone number.
• It is possible to store an external
telephone number in the Phonebook
when the telephone is connected to a
PBX system. Simply insert the trunk
access code followed by a pause

Consulting the phonebook
To consult the phonebook, lift the handset
and press the PHONEBOOK key
first entry is "< INSERT NEW >" (see
Storing numbers and names in the
phonebook on page 8). It can be used to
enter new names. The ARROW keys

can be used to navigate through the
phonebook in alphabetical order (when you
reach the last entry, the phonebook returns
to the first entry, and vice versa). The
numeric keys
enter letters. Much in the same way as for
"FULL
entering names; the display moves to the
first entry with the first letter selected (or the
following letter if no entry begins with the
first letter). The display will show the name
and number of each entry.
Deleting entries from the phonebook
To delete entries from the phonebook,
proceed as follows:
Lift the handset
Press the PHONEBOOK key
Use the ARROW keys or the numeric

keypad (see Consulting the
phonebook on page 9) to select the

entry to be deleted
Press the MENU key
Use the ARROW keys to select the
ERASE option
Press the SELECT key
To delete the entire Phonebook, enter the
code 5 and proceed as described under
Other configuration options on page 5.
