Belkin provides an optional Desktop Antenna to extend the antenna to
your desktop. While the antenna that ships with the Card is optimal for
most uses, there are some instances where moving the antenna above the
desktop is necessary to ensure good signal quality and strength. Use the
optional Desktop Antenna if, for instance, your computer is placed under
or next to a desk that is made of metal, or is under a desk near metal
drawers. Metal structures like filing cabinets and drawers can effectively
block the wireless signal. The optional Desktop Antenna is available from
