911 Service
callEverywhere 911
When you dial 911 on your callEverywhere service and a
phone line is not connected from the wall to the Belkin
Message Manager, we route your call from our network to the
Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) in the area which you
designate as your physical address. Since callEverywhere
gives you the flexibility of choosing phone numbers in area
codes other than your area of residence, 911 service must be
able to alert emergency crews closest to your actual location.
IMPORTANT: In order to use 911 emergency service on
callEverywhere, you must activate your 911
dialing capability.
To activate your 911 Calling Service
Just follow the simple steps outlined on the
www.everywhere.net website. First, sign onto your account
page at www.everywhere.net. Go to the "Features" menu,
and select "Activate 911 Service". Follow the instructions
to activate your service. You will be asked to provide
your physical address in order to activate 911 service.
The reason this is critical is that when you dial 911 on
your callEverywhere service, we route your call from our
network to the Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) in the
area which you designate as your physical address. Since
callEverywhere gives you the flexibility of choosing phone
numbers in area codes other than your area of residence,
911 service must be able to alert emergency crews closest to
your actual location.
A few days after completing the activation process on the
www.everywhere.net website, your 911 service will be fully
functional. To verify that your service has been activated, you
will receive an e-mail to your callEverywhere e-mail account.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT test your 911 service by
calling 911.
