lap, in front of your chest or between
your lips (pipe, pencils, etc.).They could cause
severe injury if the airbag is deployed.

The expiry dates of the explosive charge
and the clock spring are shown on a
specific label contained in the lower glovebox.
Contact a Fiat Dealership to have the devices
replaced when these dates approach.

If the car has been stolen or in the case
of attempt to steal it, if it has been
subjected to vandalism or floods, have the
airbag system checked by a Fiat Dealership.
WARNING
The airbags may also be deployed when
the car is not moving, if the key is in
the ignition and turned to MAR-ON or when
the engine is off, if the car is hit by another
moving vehicle. For this reason, children must
never occupy the front seat in a cradle seat
facing backwards, even if the car is not moving.
Deployment of the airbag following an impact
could cause fatal injuries to the child. Always
deactivate the passenger side airbag if
arranging a child seat on the front seat is
necessary.The passenger seat must also be slid
back as far as possible in order to prevent
the child seat from coming into contact with the
dashboard. Although this is not mandatory by
law, the airbag should be immediately
reactivated when children are no longer
transported to ensure better protection for
adults. On the other hand, if the key is turned
to STOP, none of the safety devices (airbags
or pretensioners) will be deployed in the event
of collision. Non-deployment of these devices
does not indicate a system malfunction.
