Connectivity solutions are becoming increasingly important – even critical in
some business situations. Monarch ® offers an internal Ethernet connectivity
solution. This connectivity solution makes it easy to set up, manage, and
monitor a Monarch ® 9840 ™ printer linked to an Ethernet connection. You
must use the 9840 printer (version 6.5 firmware or greater).
There are two versions of the internal Ethernet solution: Type CN and Type
ES. The location of the Status Indicator tells you which version you have.
The Status Indicator is below the reset button on our newest Ethernet
solution. You configure the print server in different ways according to which
version you have.
