RIDING TIPS

STARTING THE ENGINE

Before attempting to start the engine,
make sure:
The transmission is in neutral.
The engine stop switch is in the ""
position.
NOTE: This motorcycle has an interlock
system for the ignition circuit and the
starter circuit. The engine can only be
started if:
The transmission is in neutral and
the clutch is disengaged, or
The transmission is in gear, the side
stand is fully up, and the clutch is
disengaged.
NOTE: The fuel supply system stops
the engine when the motorcycle is over-
turned. Turn off the ignition switch
before restarting the engine.
