Installing Your Microwave Oven

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Before installation and operation:
• Remove all packing materials and accessories. Ensure there are no packing materials
inside the microwave.
• Examine the oven for any damage such as dents or a broken door. If the unit is damaged,
do not install it! Contact technical support or the place of purchase.
• Remove any protective film found in or on the microwave oven.
Warning: Do not remove the light brown Mica cover that is attached inside the oven
cavity. This protects the magnetron.
2. Select a level and stable surface that provides enough open space for the intake and/or
outlet vents. Blocking the intake and/or outlet openings can damage the oven. Do not
place the oven where heat,
moisture, or high humidity are
generated.
• A minimum clearance of 3
inches (7.5cm) is required on
the sides of the oven and 4
inched (10cm) in the rear. One
side must be open for proper
ventilation and heat dispersal.
• Leave a minimum clearance
of 12 inches (30cm) above the
oven.
• Place the oven as far away from radios and TVs as possible.
• The appliance should be only used on a countertop more than 3 feet above the floor.
• The surface should be more than stable enough to support the microwave itself along with
any food that will be placed inside of it.
3. Plug your oven into a standard household outlet. Be sure the voltage and the frequency are
the same as the voltage and frequency on the rating label.
• Be sure that the power supply cord is undamaged and does not run under the microwave
oven or over any hot or sharp surfaces.
• The socket must be readily accessible so that it can be easily unplugged in an emergency.
TURNTABLE INSTALLATION
Your microwave will come with the roller ring and glass tray in the oven cavity. Ensure the roller
ring is installed and centered correctly. The glass tray must be perfectly centered in the shaft,
and top of the wheels of the roller ring to operate properly. Do not operate the oven without the
glass tray and roller ring in their proper positions.
