Installing the Chute

Parts needed for this procedure:
1 Chute
1 Knob
1 Carriage bolt (5/16 x 1-3/8 inches)
1 Flange nut (5/16 inch)
Procedure
1. Remove the plate assembly that includes the side
discharge chute (Figure
Note: The baffle will come off at the same time. Save
this hardware and plate assembly.

3. Install a carriage bolt and flange nut into the front hole

4. Align the hole in the chute and install it onto the bolt.
Secure the chute to the mower deck with the knob and
flat washer (5/16 inch)
