The current speed is stored as the maximum speed.
Setting the speed
You can adjust the stored speed:
Steering wheel variant 1:
+ 1 km/h (1 mph):
Press the
- 1 km/h (1 mph):

+ 10 km/h (5 mph):

- 10 km/h (5 mph):

Steering wheel variant 2:
+ 1 km/h (1 mph):
Gently press the
- 1 km/h (1 mph):
Lightly press the

Strongly press the

swipe over the button from top to bottom.
Press and hold the corresponding button to continu-
ously change the stored speed.
Interrupting control

The speed remains stored in the memory.
Resuming control

The speed limiter is activated again as soon as the
current speed is lower than the stored speed.
Switching off
— Press and hold the
button.
The speed limiter is switched off and the speed re-
mains stored (also after the ignition is switched off).

off completely only when you release the accelera-
tor once or switch off the system manually.

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)

The Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) maintains
a constant speed that you have set. If the vehi-
cle approaches a vehicle in front, the ACC auto-
matically adapts the speed so that a distance
you have selected is maintained.
Does the vehicle have ACC?
The vehicle is equipped with ACC if you can adjust
settings for ACC in the Assist systems menu in the
Infotainment system.
Speed range
ACC is active in the speed range between around
30 km/h (20 mph) and around 210 km/h (130 mph),
or up to around 150 km/h (95 mph) in the USA. This
speed range may differ in certain markets.
Driving with ACC
You can override the active ACC system at any time.
Cruise control will be stopped if you brake. If you ac-
celerate, cruise control will be interrupted while you
are accelerating and then resumed.
The intervention by the ACC system is less dynamic
when towing a trailer.

If automatic deceleration by the ACC system
is not sufficient, the ACC system will request
you to brake additionally by a corresponding
message on the instrument cluster. In addi-
tion, the red warning lamp lights up and an
acoustic warning is given. Brake immediately!
