Set mobile terminal in Local
Mode. Use Phoenix
Troubleshooting > Baseband >
Audio Test and set the
following: External microphone
in; HP speaker out; Loop on;
Input HDmic; Output HPear;
Loop analog. Select 21 dB mic
gain, select -10 dB ear gain, and
inject a 1 KZ sine signal at
20 mVpp on XMIC.
Is the signal coming
out of the UEM on
EARP and EARN?
YES

Troubleshooting - Baseband
Retest
YES
Check L102, C152, C156,
C151, C154, C153, C170,
R151, R155, R152, R150,
NO
and R153. If OK, change
the UEM.
Check R177, R178,
and R179. If OK,
then change the
earpiece.
