Removal
1. Remove the top chassis. (Refer to Section 2-1-1.)
2. Remove the DEC-158 board.
(Refer to steps 2 to 5 in Section 2-2-1.)
3. Remove the lithium battery using an insulating tool as
shown in the figure.

4. Insert a new lithium battery.

When inserting the battery, check that the battery
orientation (+/_) is correct.
5. Reassemble the unit in the reverse order of steps 1 and
2.

1-8. Initializing the Hard Disk

This Section describes the procedure for initializing the
hard disk.

. Update the firmware of the unit to version 2.00 or later.
. To initialize the firmware of the already installed unit
that is connected to a network, the administrator's IP
address, user name, and password are required. Obtain
the information from the customer beforehand.

. LAN cable (cross cable)

When using a straight cable, connect the unit to the PC
through a HUB that is not connected to any other
networks.
