Lift of the Alternating Pressers Hub der alternierenden NahfiiBe

The lift of the alternating pressers is dependent on the
material being sewn and should not be higher than
actually required. (Refer to the diagram on page 5. which
lists the recommended lifting height in relation to the
speed.)
Der Hub der alternierenden Nahfufte mufS der Starke des
zu bearbeitenden Materials angeglichen werden und sollte
nicht hoher als unbedingt erforderlich eingestellt werden.
(Siehe Drehzahl / Arbeitshub-Diagramm auf Seite 5).

Turn of motor and stop machine.

Antriebsmotor ausschalten und Maschine abstoppen
2. Turn handwheel in normal direction of rotation and
depress button O until it snaps in.

Handrad in Drehrichtung drehen und Knopf O
drCicken, bis dieser einrastet.
3.
With button 0 depressed, turn handwheel in direc-
tion(-f )to increase the lifting movement or in
direction (-) to decrease the lifting movement.

Bei eingedrucktgm Knopf© Handrad in Richtung
(-f)drehen, um den Hub zu vergrdftern oder in Rich
tung (-) drehen, um ihn zu verringern.
4.
Release button O .

Knopf O wieder loslassen.
5.
Turn on motor and start sewing.

Antriebsmotor einschalten. Nahbetrieb aufnehmen.
Timing of the Eccentric for the
Alternating Pressers
(Figs. B and C)
1. Check if the lifting movement of the alternating
pressers is equal. If required, adjust lifting move-
ment as instructed on page 26 (Presser Bar).
2. Loosen screws Q of the eccentric O .
3. Turn handwheel until the needle point, on its down
ward movement, is approx. 3/64" below the throat
plate surface.
Adjust eccentric 0 radially on the arm shaft until
the vibrating presser foot O and the lifting presser
foot 0 contact the throat plate surface simulta
neously^

Tighten screws 0 of the eccentric
With the eccentric 0 properly adjusted, the feed
dog, while moving upward, should contact the
vibrating presser foot O in level with the throat
plate surface.

Both, the eccentric for the upper feed, which is located
in the arm of the machine and the eccentric for the
drop feed, which is located below the machine bed,
are set by the factory. If, after a long period of
operation, an adjustment of the eccentrics should
become necessary, it can be carried out as follows:
1.
Loosen screws 0
2. Adjust screws O uniformly to eliminate the play
between the guide0 and the flange 0 .
3. Tighten screws^

5. Move collar 0 towards the adjusting disc 0 to
increase the pressure when the adjusting disc C
tends to shift its position during the sewing
operation.
6. Tighten screws 0
Zeitliche Einsteiiung des Exzen-
ters der alternierenden NahfiiBe
(Abb. B und C)
1. Uberprijfen, ob die Hubbewegung der alternieren
den NahfuEe gleich groft ist. Wenn erforderlich,
Hubbewegung, wie auf Seite 26 unter Einsteiiung
der Stoffdruckerstange beschrieben, einstellen.
2. Schrauben 0 im Exzenter 0 Idsen.
3. Handrad drehen. bis sich die Nadelspitze beim Ab-
senken ca. 1 mm unterhalb der Stichplattenober-
flache befindet.
4. Exzenter 0 auf der Armwelle radial einstellen, bis
sich Transportfuft O und NahfuR © gleichzeitig auf
Hohe der Stichplatte befinden.
5. Schrauben 0 im Exzenter anziehen.
6. Bei richtig durchgefiihrter Einsteiiung sollte der
Transporteur bei seiner Aufwartsbewegung in Hohe
der Stichplatte Kontakt mit dem TransportfulS O
bekommen.
Einsteiiung der Exzenter lAbb d)
Der Exzenter des Obertransports im Arm der Maschine
und der Exzenter des Hupfertransports in der Grundplatte
sind vom Werk eingestellt. Sollte nach langerer Betriebs-
zeit eine Regulierung der Exzenter erforderlich werden,
ist diese wie folgt durchzufuhren:
1. Schrauben © Idsen.
2. Schrauben 0 gleichmalSig einstellen, um Spiel zwi-
schen Fuhrung 0 und Flansch 0 zu beseitigen.
3. Schrauben 0 festziehen.
4. Schrauben 0 losen.
5. Stellring 0 gegen Einstellscheibe © stellen, um den
Federdruck zu verstarken, wenn sich Einstellscheibe
0 beim Nahen aus ihrer Lage verdreht.
Schrauben 0 festziehen.
