    Power Supply FUNCTION _ — IMPORTANT Make sure that FUNCTION is set to (!) STANDBY TAPE before connecting the AC cord or inserting batteries. Connect the AC cord as illustrated below. to the AC inlet of the unit supplied AC cord ~+ CAUTION Use only the supplied AC cord.

Turn VOLUME to adjust the volume. For better reception If the radio reception contains noise, move the unit away from other electrical appliances.

    o–9, +10 MEMORY Set FUNCTION to CD. Press OPEN to open the disc compartment and place a disc with the printed side up. The total number of tracks and total playing time are displayed. Press WI1 PLAY/PAUSE/PRESET play. The number of the track being played and the elapsed playing time are displayed.
