IMPORTANT • Install the software before connecting the scanner to the computer. • Log on to Windows as an Administrator. • Close all other applications before installing the software. Insert the Setup Disc into the disk drive of the computer. The setup menu automatically starts up when you insert the disc into the drive.

IMPORTANT • Do not connect the scanner to the computer before installing the software. • Before connecting the scanner to the computer, verify that the power of the scanner is OFF.     Features of the Scanner The main features of the DR-6030C document scanner are described Deskew below. The scanner straightens an image after detecting an image on a document that was loaded askew. Fast Document Feeding The scanner can scan a maximum of 60 documents per minute in Auto Color Detection a range of sizes from business cards to A3 size.

    IMPORTANT Placing Documents Pull out the document feed tray extension when scanning large documents. Switch the feed method based on the type of document you are scanning. When scanning plain paper or business cards, set the feed selection lever to the standard feeding position (upper position). The pages of a multi-page document will be separated and fed one page at a time.
