Remove the cover from the suction cup

Turn the LOCK/RELEASE lever
counterclockwise 90 degrees to secure
the cradle on the dashboard.

make sure that you have pressed the PUSH
button hard and expelled the air from under
the suction cup.

Connect the cradle cable.
e the arm of the cradle to the
horizontal position, and connect the
cradle cable.

ake sure that the
connector are visible, as shown in the
illustration, when connecting the cradle
cable.
o not use any cable other than the supplied
cradle cable.

Adjust the strap.
Adjust the strap by using the adjuster.

Press the ridges to remove the cradle cable
from the cradle.

Loosen the strap from the adjuster.

Take the hoop of the strap off from the
cradle.

Turn the LOCK/RELEASE lever clockwise
by 90 degrees.

Pull the tab of the cradle for a few seconds in
the direction of the arrow marked
illustration below ( ), and then slowly
(over 3 to 5 seconds) remove the suction cup

horizontal direction.
– insert a hard object (key, blade, finger,
etc.) between the suction cup and the

he suction cup may be damaged if it is
forcefully removed, or the cradle is forced in
a horizontal direction while still attached to
the dashboard, or put the pressure on the
cradle in the horizontal direction before
completely taking off the suction cup from
the dashboard.
f the temperature of the surface of the
dashboard is low, for example, in winter or
when used in a cold region, removal of the
suction cup may be difficult.

Replace the cover on the suction cup.

ut the cover on the suction cup when you
take the cradle off the dashboard. If the
suction cup becomes dirty or scratched, its
adhesive strength will be reduced.

Use the cord clamp to secure the cradle

Note on the suction cup of the cradle
If the surface of the suction cup becomes
dirty, the attachment strength weakens.
With the supplied sponge, clean the
surface periodically.

Fold the sponge in half as illustrated.

Soak the sponge fully in water, then
slightly drain off the excess water.

Wipe the dirt off the surface of the
suction cup repeatedly in the same
direction.
Be sure to wipe gently to avoid damage,
and to handle as illustrated to prevent the
cradle or terminal from getting wet.

Cradle shape differs depending on the model.

Dry the suction cup completely.
Use a cool air hair-dryer, or let it dry
naturally.
Before attaching the suction cup, clean also
the attachment surface in your car.
Notes
Do not use any alcohol, detergent, etc.
Do not let water get into the cradle as it may
cause malfunction.
Make sure that the sponge is not so wet as to drip.
Otherwise, dirt will be difficult to remove, or the
surface of the suction cup may be damaged.
It takes time for the suction cup to dry completely.
Do not use any tissue or towel to wipe off the
surface of the suction cup.
Check periodically if the surface of the suction cup
is dirty.
Tip
You can also use a soft, wet lint-free cloth to clean
the surface of the suction cup.
