How the System Works Thank you for choosing the Hunter Airmax Air Purifier! Since 1886, Hunter ® ® innovated new and smarter ways to clean, circulate and condition the air in your home. Your air purifier uses an internal fan to pull air from 360-degrees into the air purifier before the air enters a 3-stage filtration process. -

Operating Your Air Purifier This manual covers several different models. The air purifier you have purchased may have some or all of the features listed. Accent Light HEPA Filter Pre-Filter USING THE CONTROLS On/Off Press the On/Off button to turn your air purifier on or off. Speed Press the Speed button to select Low, Medium, High, or Turbo fan speed. -

Filter Maintenance We recommend periodically checking and replacing filters for optimal performance. • Under normal conditions of continuous use, the pre-filter should be replaced every 6 months (approximately 3,500 hours) and the HEPA filter should be replaced every 12 months (approximately 7,000 hours). This estimate is only a guide. -
