Layer 3 Switching
Layer 3 switching capabilities such as
support for IP unicast routing using
static routes, OSPF * , RIP/RIPv2, CIDR,

Both switches support 3Com Gigabit
Multilayer Switching (GMS) software,
offering advanced Layer 2 switching
features such as traffic prioritization,
VLANs, multicast filtering, and RMON,
as well as Layer 3 switching features,
including support for unicast IP routing
supporting static routes, RIP/RIP2 and
OSPF* and Access Control Lists. Their
Class of Service capabilities are ideal for
key business applications, such as mul-
timedia, LAN telephony, database and
