Functions
Depending on how the food is to be
cooked, you have a choice of the
following functions:
– M Chef + Fan Plus 
– M Chef + Moisture Plus 
– M Chef + Auto Roast 
– M Chef + Conventional Heat 
– Fan Plus 
– Moisture Plus 
– Auto Roast
– Conventional Heat 
Alternatively you can use an
Automatic programme. Use the Dialog
oven cookbook for guidance.
Cooking containers
You can use any heat-resistant
cookware:
Oven dishes and pots (metal lids can
only be used with conventional
functions), heat-resistant glass dishes,
roasting bags and tubes, Römertopf
(only with conventional functions),
universal tray, rack on top of the
universal tray.
We recommend roasting in a roasting
pan, as this will ensure that enough
stock remains to make gravy.
The oven will also stay cleaner than
when roasting on the rack.

In the M Chef functions metal lids
reflect electro-magnetic waves and
hence prevent cooking.
Roasting pans and pots must be
used without a lid or with a glass lid
with M Chef functions.
The grilling and roasting insert and a
Römertopf are not suitable for use
with M Chef functions.
These may only be used with
conventional cooking functions.
Useful tips
– Browning: Browning only occurs
towards the end of the roasting time.
Remove the lid about halfway
through the roasting time if a more
intensive browning result is desired.
– Standing time: At the end of the
programme, take the roast out of the
oven, wrap in aluminium foil and
leave to stand for about 10 minutes.
This helps retain juices when the
meat is carved.
– Roasting poultry: For a crisp skin,
baste the poultry 10 minutes before
the end of the cooking time with
slightly salted water.
