Checking the digital signal strength

You can check the strength of the digital signal by viewing the digital signal
meter.
To view the digital signal meter:
1. Press MENU in the digital mode, then
press or to display the OPTION menu.
or
2. Press to select DIGITAL
SETUP, then press .
or
3. Press to highlight SIGNAL METER.
4. Press to check the digital signal strength.
5. Press MENU repeatedly until the menu
screen is cleared.

Displaying TV status information on-screen

Press RECALL to display the information on the screen.
When the TV receives a digital signal, press once, the digital information
will appear.

To cancel the display, press RECALL again.

Using the auto shut off feature

If the Auto Shut Off is ON, the TV will turn off after approximately 15
minutes if it is tuned to a vacant channel or a station that completes its
broadcast for the day and stops broadcasting on that channel.
To use the auto shut off feature:
1. Press MENU, then press
2. Press or to highlight AUTO SHUT
OFF, then press
OFF.
3. Press MENU repeatedly until the menu
screen is cleared.
Note: To return to normal viewing
immediately, press EXIT.
