a. Hold the camera like you would hold any other camera.
b. You can zoom in and out using the button to the upper left of the ON/OFF switch
when facing the screen.
i. To zoom in push it to the right.
ii. To zoom out push it to the left.
iii. Find the proper zoom.
c. Focus and Shoot
i. Press the shutter-release button (the button on top of the zoom on the
upper left of the ON/OFF button) halfway.
ii. Press the shutter-release button down the rest of the way.
iii. You have now taken a simple picture, congratulations.
10. Viewing and Deleting Pictures
a. Viewing Pictures
i. Press the play button o the left of the screen. It is the second button from
the bottom with a giant play button on it.
ii. The last picture taken will appear on the screen.
iii. To scroll through the pictures use the buttons to the left and right of the
OK button.
b. Deleting Pictures
i. Select the picture you want to delete by viewing it.
ii. Hit the delete button, which is the trashcan to the right of the screen. It is
below the OK button.
1. The camera automatically focuses on the subject in the center
focus area. When the subject is in focus, the focus area will glow
green, and the green AF lamp next to the viewfinder will light.
2. When digital zoom (extreme zoom when the zoom turns yellow) is
in effect, and the subject is in focus, the AF lamp will glow green.
The focus area is not displayed.
3. When the camera is unable to focus, the focus area will blink in red
or the AF lamp will flicker when the shutter release button is
pressed halfway. Change the composition and press the shutter-
release button halfway again.
