"IRQL_NOT_GREATER_THAN_OR_EQUAL_TO" appears on a Blue
screen when installing Windows NT
Description: This error message might appear on a Blue screen during the Windows NT
installation process after the system reboots.
The following network operating systems are affected:
The device driver for the integrated Broadcom Ethernet controller is affected.
Solution: Download and install the xSeries 440 BIOS Update, version 1.03 or later. You can
obtain the BIOS update at http://www.ibm.com/pc/qtechinfo/MIGR-42518.html/.
Workaround: Complete the following steps to install Windows NT, and then install the BIOS
update and Ethernet device drivers:
