When installing the PMLN5547/PMLN6611/PMLN5588, use
the following procedure or modify to suit the particular vehicle.
See Figure 2 above.
1. Open the hinge screw and separate the two halves of the
mounting bracket.
2. Use the lower half of the bracket as a template. Position it
so that the pivot end of the bracket is toward the bottom
of the cradle.
3. Using an awl or similar device, make four holes in the
carpet at marked locations. This must be done prior to
drilling to avoid damaging the carpet.
4. Mark and drill holes. Securely mount the bottom half of
the bracket using the four #8x.625" self-tapping screws
(supplied with the mounting bracket).
5. Secure the cradle/holder to the other half of the bracket
using the four M4x10 mm screws (supplied with the
mounting bracket).
6. Connect the two parts of the mounting bracket and
secure the hinge screw.
Note:
Do not connect the power cable to the cradle until the
power cable is fully installed.

POWER CABLE INSTALLATION

Note:
This installation procedure is applicable to GMLN5075 and
GMLN5371 Vehicular Charger Kits only. The GMLN5075
Vehicular Charger Kit supports both 12V DC and 24V DC
vehicular batteries.
The Vehicular Charger Kit power cable is equipped with
5-Ampere fuse for battery positive terminal and 1-Ampere
fuse for ignition. Verify that the vehicle electrical system can
support current values larger than the fuse ratings.
The fuse in the red wire should be connected to the power
source using the shortest practical length.
The Vehicular Charger Kit is only for use with a negative
ground system.
