Creating and Sending New Messages
This section guides you through the process for creating and sending messages.
Creating and Sending a Text (TXT) Message
In standby mode, do one of the following:

• Press the Message (right) soft key (

Address your new message by doing one of the following:

• Enter the phone number of a message recipient.
• Press the Options (right) soft key (

Contacts — Lets you select one or more of your Contacts as a recipient of this

message.
Groups — Lets you select some or all of the Contacts in a Contacts Group as
–
recipients of this message.
Recent Calls — Lets you select one or more of your Recent Calls log records to
–
provide recipients for this message.
Entry Mode — Lets you change the text entry mode for the highlighted Send
–
To field and/or select Email address elements for a recipient of this message.
Add T9 Word — Lets you add words and/or text strings from a recipient
–
address for this message to your phone's T9 Word dictionary.
Use the Navigation key to highlight one of these options, then press the OK (left)

Press the Options (right) soft key (
or all of the listed Contacts or call records:
Mark — Places a checkmark to the left of the highlighted Contact or call record.

Mark All — Places checkmarks to the left of all listed Contacts or call records.

Press the Done (left) soft key (
the display with the Send To fields populated with the selected message
recipient(s) names (Contacts), phone numbers, and/or Email addresses.
Press the OK (left) soft key (
