• Erase — Deletes the selected number from the selected Calls log.
• Send Text Msg — Lets you send a text message to the number stored in this
call record.
• Lock / Unlock — Lets you prevent/allow erasure of this call record.
• Erase All — Lets you erase all unlocked call records in this folder.
• View Timers — Shows the Call Timers screen in the display. (For more
information, see "Call Timers" on page 29.)

• Update Existing — Lets you add the selected call record number to an existing

Finding a Contacts Entry

Find lets you locate individual Contacts entries quickly by using the name, a number,
or the Group name assigned to a Contacts entry.
Find by Name
This option lets you find a Contacts list entry by its contact name.
In standby mode, do one of the following:

• Press the Up navigation key (Contacts Find shortcut).
• Press the Menu (left) soft key (
for Find.
The Find screen appears in the display.
Enter the first few characters of the name of the Contact as it appears in

your Contacts list.
Example: If you saved a contact name as "Amy Smith", begin your search for that contact by pressing
for "A".
Note: As you enter letter, the entry number and names of the closest matches (thus far) appear in the
display.
