Press Phonebook.

Scroll to New and press Select.

Choose to add the contact to either your Phone or SIM Card memory and press Select.

Enter the name of your contact. See page 62 for details on how to enter text.

Scroll down to Phone number and enter a contact phone number.

Press Options and select Save.

From the Home screen scroll to and press OK.

The cursor will be flashing ready for you to enter your
message. The quickest way to enter text is using
predictive text input. With predictive text you only need
to press the key for a letter once. So, for example, to
write the word orange you would press 6, 7, 2, 6, 4
and 3. You will see that the word doesn't appear on
screen immediately, don't worry, that's how it works.
See page 62 for more information about entering text.

When your message is complete, press Options and
select Send. Enter a phone number or press Option and
select Contacts to get a number from your phonebook.
