Before using the appliance
for the first time
Before the new accessory can be used, 
it must be fully unpacked, cleaned and 
checked. 
Caution! 
Never operate a damaged accessory!
  ■ Remove all accessories from the 
packaging and dispose of all packing 
materials.
  ■ Check that all the parts are present and 
examine them for obvious damage.

Dicer insert
For cutting the following foods into cube 
shapes: Raw or cooked vegetables (e.g. 
potatoes, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, 
peppers, onions), fruit (e.g. bananas, 
apples, pears, peaches, strawberries, 
melons, kiwis), hard cheese, hard-boiled 
eggs, soft sausage (e.g. mortadella).
Notes:
  – The dicer insert is not suitable for slicing 
very soft cheese (e.g. mozzarella, 
sheep's cheese) or semi-hard cheese 
(e.g. Gouda, Edam).
  – For hard cheeses (e.g. Emmental), the 
quantity processed in one cycle must 
not exceed 3 kg.
  – Fruit/vegetables should not be too ripe 
as the juice may escape.
  – Before processing pip and stone fruits 
(apples, peaches, etc.), remove the pips 
or stones.
  – Leave cooked food to cool down before 
dicing it as it will then be firmer and 
the dicing result will be better.
