QUICK STORAGE

1. Turn off the unit and unplug the power cord.
2. Wrap the steam hose around the telescopic pole one time. Do not fold or
bend the hose.
3. Hang the steam nozzle from the nozzle holder.
4. Loosen the top two sections of the telescopic pole and collapse to a
compact height.
5. Roll the unit to a convenient storage location.
CLEANING AND LONG-TERM STORAGE
For maximium performance, you should clean PureSteam XL weekly. Using
distilled or de-mineralized water will help prevent buildup and require less
frequent cleaning. Do the following to clean:
1. Turn the unit off and unplug the Power Cord.
2. Wait for the unit to cool completely (at least 30 minutes).
3. Remove the steam hose and the telescopic pole, and set them aside.
4. Carry the unit to a sink or tub.
5. Remove and drain the water tank. Rinse with fresh water and drain
completely.
6. Tilt upside down to facilitate removal of all water.

7. Flush the unit by filling the water reservoir and the hose base with fresh
water and draining completely.
8. Place the water tank back on the water reservoir.
9. Reattach the telescopic pole and steam hose.
10. Follow steps 3-6 of the Quick Storage procedure on the previous page.
