2.3 - Chiller flowchart and component function Condenser description The refrigerant vapour from the generator is condensed on the heat transfer tubes of the condenser. Cooling water from the Evaporator absorber is heated by condensation heat. The refrigerant is dispersed on the heat transfer tubes of the Purge unit evaporator.
