Setting target tracking

The Target Tracking function automatically tracks the acquired targets and records and displays the
course and speed of the targets as vector. Alerts can also be output based on the set collision decision
criteria (CPA and TCPA).
4.3.1 Target acquisition
The methods for acquiring targets include AUTO Acquisition (automatic acquisition) mode and ACQ
MANUAL (manual acquisition) mode.
Both modes can also be used concurrently.
Memo
As the common content between automatic acquisition and manual acquisition, the information as
to whether the number of targets that are being tracked reached the maximum number (30 targets
or 100 targets when the TT option is available) is shared among all the display units that participate
in the network regardless of the master-slave relationship.
Therefore, when the number of targets reached the maximum (for instance, 30 targets) in one of
the display units, the system assumes that this number of targets has been reached in all the
display units even if the numbers have not reached the maximum in any other display unit (for
instance, 10 targets).
The constraints that are applied to the acquisition operations after the number of targets reached
the maximum are described below. However, the same constraints are applied regardless of the
participation or non-participation in the network.
[Constraints]
If manual acquisition is made in a state in which the number of targets being tracked has
reached the maximum number of targets, the target with the lowest danger level among the
targets that have been captured thus far automatically is erased successively.
When all the targets that are tracked are for manual acquisition and the number has reached
the maximum number of targets, no further acquisition is allowed.
4.3.1.1
AUTO acquisition (automatic acquisition) mode
By setting up and enabling the automatic acquisition/activation zone (AZ), targets intruding into the AZ
can automatically be acquired/tracked and at the same time, a target acquisition alarm can be issued.
Memo
The setting for enabling/disabling automatic acquisition/activation zone (AZ) is shared among all
the display units that participate in the network regardless of the master-slave relationship.
To enable automatic acquisition/activation zone (AZ)
[Operation procedure]
Open the target acquisition alarm setup screen by performing the following menu operations.
[Menu] button → 09. Alert → 02. Target acquisition alarm
1
Enable the automatic acquisition/activation zone (AZ) by checking 01. [Use AZ1] or 02.
[Use AZ2].
Automatic acquisition/activation zone (AZ) includes AZ1 and AZ2.
To enable AZ1, check 01. [Use AZ].
To enable AZ2, check 02. [Use AZ].
