4. Adjust the brightness by using the arrow keys on the keyboard or left-click with the mouse and
drag your finger across the touchpad
Shutting down (turning off) the computer
1. Save your work before shutting down your computer.
2. On the Touchpad, swipe from the right-side with your finger.
3. Click Settings
4. Click Power
5. Select Shut down
*It takes 12.45 seconds to restart the computer to get to the login screen.

1. Right-click the Start button in the lower-left corner of the screen.
2. Select Shut down or sign out.
Or
1. Press the Windows logo key
2. Click Settings
3. Click Power
4. Select Shut down
If the computer is unresponsive and you are unable to use the preceding shutdown procedures, try the
following emergency procedures in the following sequence:
1. Press ctrl + alt + delete.
2. Click the Power icon.
3. Select Shut Down.
4. Press and hold the power button for at least 5 seconds.
5. Disconnect the computer from external power.
