6. Remove any rust or dirt from
the wheel bolts, mounting
surfaces and spare wheel.
7. Install the spare wheel.
Danger
Never use oil or grease on bolts
or nuts because the nuts might
come loose. The vehicle's wheel
could fall off, causing a crash with
the risk of death.
8. Reinstall the wheel nuts by
hand until the wheel is held
against the hub.
9. Lower the vehicle completely
by turning the jack lever
counterclockwise.
10. Tighten the nuts in a crosswise
( 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 ) sequence.

11. Stow the replaced wheel and
the vehicle tools, see Tools
0 266.
12. Check the tire pressure of the
installed tire and also the wheel
nut torque as soon as possible.
Have the defective tire renewed or
repaired.

Spare Wheel
This vehicle is equipped with a
temporary spare wheel, that may
have dimensions, pressure and
useful life are different from your
vehicle s road wheels.
Use it only in emergency situations
and replace it as soon as the road
wheel is repaired or replaced. The
temporary spare wheel should not
be used in distances greater than
100 Km.
The use of the temporary spare
wheel may alter the vehicle dynamic
behavior, especially when making
turns and braking. However, it does
not affect safety if used at speeds
below 80 Km/h. The temporary
spare tire is equipped with steel
wheel.
Warning
Always use a temporary spare
wheel at speeds below 80km/h
and in distances up to 100km.
