HomePatrol-2 sounds a Baeery Low beep every five seconds. Tap the pop-up screen to close it and stop
the baeery low beep.
How to Set the Battery Charge Time
1. Tap the following:
Menu
•
Advanced Menu
•
Set Charge Time
•
The Set Charge Time keypad displays and the Baeery Size value flashes.
2. Enter the baeery size in mAh (this number should be on the baeery itself). HomePatrol-2
calculates the Sme required to completely recharge these baeeries and displays it, flashing, in
the Hours field.
3. If this Sme is acceptable, tap Accept. If it is not, enter another Sme and tap Accept.
4. When the values are accepted, HomePatrol-2 beeps and the Advanced Menu screen displays
again.
5. Tap Listen to return to monitoring.
NOTE: At any %me, you can tap Listen to return to normal recep%on without making changes or Back
to return to the previous screen without changing the se_ngs.
How to Recharge the Batteries
There are three different ways you can use the mini-USB to USB cable (included) to recharge your
HomePatrol-2. All three ways use the miniUSB to USB cable, included in the box.
Recharge Using
PC USB Port
Standard USB Adapter
(less than 500mA)
Procedures
1. Connect the miniUSB end of the cable to HomePatrol-2 and the
USB end of the cable to your PC. HomePatrol-2 displays the
"Select USB Mode" screen.
2. Select "DC Supply" to use PC power.
3. Turn HomePatrol-2 off.
NOTE: With this configura%on, HomePatrol-2 cannot charge if it is
turned on.
1. Plug the miniUSB end of the cable into the HomePatrol-2 and the
USB end of the cable to a USB to AC Power Adapter that is less
than 500mA (not included). HomePatrol-2 displays the "Select
USB Mode" screen.
2. Select "DC Supply."
3. Plug the AC Adapter into an applicable power source.
4. Turn HomePatrol-2 off.
NOTE: With this configuration, HomePatrol-2 cannot charge if it is
turned on.
